Project Supervisor: Dr. Mary Frecker , Dr. Tim Simpson Project Description: The focus of this research is to analyze how metamodels can be used to effectively and efficiently display engineering design spaces that are multidimensional. Visualization techniques are being implemented to develop graphical user interfaces that allow users to explore engineering design spaces, and these graphical user interfaces are to be applied within a traditional computer display and a 3-D virtual reality immersive environment.
